Research Technician, Translational Immunotherapy Lab

Translational Immunotherapy Lab is seeking an individual within the Tumor Immunotherapy Program (TIP) (Princess Margaret Cancer Centre). The lab is involved in various research projects and clinical trials. The main focus is the manufacturing of cells for investigational clinical trials.

Responsibilities :
• Processing human tissues and blood
• Performing cell culture procedures, and cellular and molecular assays
• Analyzing data
• Adhering to SOPs and maintaining documentation of procedures
• Performing general lab maintenance activities
• Participating in activities related to quality assurance and quality control

• Bachelors degree in immunology, biological sciences or similar field (M.Sc. preferred)
• Minimum 3 years related experience
• Experience with Good Manufacturing Practices is an asset
• Detail-oriented and well organized
• Excellent laboratory skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Computer literacy (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point)
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Flexible schedule
