What is the purpose?
An LSCDS signature event, Career Day provides a forum for up to 500 student attendees to explore career paths within a variety of industries, and to gain insight from, and network with successful professionals.
How does it work?
The event features:

- A series of panel discussions featuring over 30 professionals from a range of industries including consulting, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, government and regulatory affairs, clinical research, patent law and medical writing. Our guests share an overview of realities of their job and career path with students and are open to questions from the audience
- A company information fair featuring booths for more than 20 invited companies, providing a unique platform for students to gain insight into what employers are seeking and to learn about current opportunities, as well as for companies to interact with an exceptional talent pool of graduate students, post-doctoral fellows and research assistants.
