Career Seminar Series: Research & Development

The Career Seminar Series team will be a hosting a free virtual event covering Research & Development on November 25th @ 6 – 7:15pm. The event will bring together two fantastic speakers well-versed in R&D.
Dr. Manoja Eswara is a Development Manager at the Centre for Commercialization of Regenerative Medicine (CCRM) in Toronto. At CCRM, Manoja is engaged in management and execution of contract services for academic and industrial clients, specializing in the areas of Gene editing, iPSC reprogramming and Immunotherapy. She is also engaged in technology evaluation, process development and tech transfer to GMP, in the field of Cell and Gene therapy. Prior to CCRM, Dr. Eswara did her postdoctoral fellowship from Lunenfeld-Tanenbaum Research Institute, Toronto, studying the role of Histone chaperones in Cancer Epigenetics. Dr. Eswara received her PhD from University of Guelph in Molecular Biology.
Dr. Srijit Khan is with Amaris Consulting, where he works as a consultant with a large multinational vaccine manufacturing company based near North York. His primary focus is on improving manufacturing steps for vaccines against pathogens, such as Diptheria and Tetanus, which includes downstream purification, chromatography, and tangential flow filtration (TFF). Dr. Khan received a PhD from National Centre for Cell Sciences (NCCS), India. Following graduation, he was a post-doctoral fellow and research associate at the University of Toronto.
