Want to create an exceptional résumé? Want to learn how to thrive on networking sessions?

LSCDS is offering a very exciting opportunity to learn about the basics of resume writing and networking.

This interactive session will support your career development by teaching you effective strategies to create, update and review your resume to ensure it is captivating and persuasive to the reviewer. Please bring a copy of your working résumé (print or digital, in whatever state it’s in) as well as a sample job posting for the exercise. The second half will go into strategies for networking, it’s value and importance on how to establish meaningful connections with people who share your professional interests.

Natasha Jamal is a Career Educator at Career Exploration and Education (CxED) where she supports students and recent graduates to develop self-directed career management skills as they build their future in our changing world. During her graduate work, she investigated the value of embedding student voice in curriculum and educational pedagogy to better student engagement and learning. She is committed to supporting students and recent graduates transition from academia to the world of work in a way that is engaging, accessible and relevant.
