He is dedicated to building a digital research tool that can benefit the scientific community as a whole by speaking to researchers and incorporating their needs into BenchSci.

Outside of work, Maurice is passionate about singing, particularly rock & roll. He has entered singing competitions twice. He also enjoys watching thriller and mystery movies. For outdoor activities Maurice likes to go hiking and biking in the summer, while during winter he loves snowboarding.
