MedComms Solutions is a Toronto-based medical communications agency. Our growing team of writers help us produce original, editorial-style articles to educate the general public, healthcare providers, and pharmaceutical executives on new developments in the medical industry and increase brand awareness.

We’re seeking freelance writing support from individuals who possess knowledge and interest in a wide range of therapeutic areas – from oncology to ophthalmology – and are enthusiastic about journalism, keeping up to date with the latest goings on in healthcare, and connecting with medical professionals.

If you’re currently working in health research or are enrolled in a graduate level university program in a medical discipline, and have strong written and verbal communication skills, we want you in our team!

  • Collaborating and communicating with our lead medical writer to meet project timelines

Required knowledge/skills/equipment:

  • Comfortable talking to physicians, patients, CEOs, and high-profile stakeholders
  • Able to write in a conversational, editorial-style tone to a variety of audiences – from the general public, who have limited medical knowledge, to pharmaceutical executives, who are comfortable with business terminology and less-so with scientific concepts
