About the Role
Working closely with the Director of Business Development and the BD team, the role will be responsible for designing an efficient market research strategy pertaining bio-pharma upstream virial production technologies and cell and gene therapy.
Key Qualifications:
Expertise in bioscience
Experience in conducting market and sales research
Exceptional written and oral communication skills are a must.
High proficiency in Microsoft Office
Self-motivated, highly organized, and independent individual, able to function well in a fast passed, growing, virtual environment.
Strong experience working as part of a high performing team and working directly with clients
Knowledge of technology, including gene therapy, vaccines, oncolytic viruses, or virus manufacturing, is an asset.
A post-graduate scientific degree is an asset.
Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Conducting research and producing reports analyzing the viral medicines market using various search engines
Analyzing and extracting data from market reports
Identifying potential business opportunities, industry trends, competing organizations, customer demographics, and emerging technologies
Gathering and tracking company and competitor metrics, data, and statistics
Building business models for different industry sectors
Forecasting revenues for the technology in various sectors

This is a paid internship.
