The LSCE is one of LSCDS’ biggest events of the year, with the 2023 theme of “Expanding Your Possibilities”. Our 7th podcast episode will be a sneak peek of what to expect at this highly anticipated hybrid event taking place May 1st - 4th. We have three special guests, including the two Co-team leads of LSCE from LSCDS, Melissa Kleinau and Bushra Yusuf. Our professional guest is Dr. Pamela Plant, an Adjunct Scientist and Genomics Specialist at the Keenan Research Center for Biomedical Science at Unity Health Toronto (SMH). Dr. Plant is passionate about trainee education. She established the Research Core Facilities “Core Clinics” educational program, where RCF specialists run dozens of unique courses in a broad range of basic science techniques specifically for trainees.
