Ms. Nicole Arguelles

Our sixth coffee break spotlight guest was Nicole Arguelles. She is a Business Intelligence Partner at GSK, and is currently in the process of finishing her PhD in Pharmacology. Nicole shared her experience in grad school and how she found her way to a career in the industry!

Nicole explored many potential career paths through networking during her graduate studies, and landed experiences like working for a start-up company as a business development intern. Through these experiences, she developed her business acumen which helped her transition from academia to industry.

She recommends that students curious about a career in industry be open to opportunities as you never know what you might end up clicking with!
