Dr. Ahmed El-Boraie

Our seventh Coffee Break spotlight featured Dr. Ahmed El-Boraie, Medical Science Liaison (MSL) for Novartis’s Oncology Department and former ITCS Co-Team Lead! Dr. El-Boraie spoke about his role as an MSL in Novartis and how participating in LSCDS’s ITCS, networking events, and the mentorship program helped him narrow down which career field fit the best for him.

Ahmed offers the following advice to current graduate students: try not to stress too much about the future. Try new things and get your feet wet in as many fields as you can while in grad school and trust that you’ll find your path to where you want to be.
